Is the Jeep Renegade available with four-wheel drive?
Four-wheel drive will affect your efficiency ratings, and the Renegade is offered in four-wheel drive like all Jeep models. So this means we have at least two different sets of efficiency numbers to look at, but there are also two engine options, and some metrics change per trim level. Let’s get into that.
What are the engine options on the 2021 Renegade?
Most of the Renegade lineup for 2021 gives you a 2.4-liter engine that provides up to 180 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque. This engine is available with both front-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive drivetrains.
The other engine option is a 1.3-liter turbo powerplant that sacrifices a small amount of horsepower (down to 177) but gains a lot of torque with 210 pound-feet of torque available. This engine is only available on the Trailhawk and the Limited trims where it comes standard along with standard four-wheel drive. Both trims provide different efficiency numbers.
