New for 2017:
The Ram 1500 has been one of the trucks to watch of late. It has been picking up momentum in the truck market as one of the dominant forces. The 1500 has been racking up the awards and critical praise and has been placing Ram at the front of the truck market.
Rugged on the outside, tasteful and elegant on the inside. The 2017 Ram 1500 has a commitment to using high quality materials to keep occupants completely comfortable no matter what the haul is. The seating is made from premium fabrics with high-quality leather trim and a dedication to the finest stitching. That doesn't make it not capable of handling tough wear and tear though.
The inside of the 1500 presents a luxury look with multiple trim accent choices such as a real wood that gives it a country feeling. It might look like a throwback to older times, but it does come equipped with the latest hosts of technology such as the Chrysler Uconnect system and customizable multiview display.
Looks are good and all for a truck, but someone who is buying cares less about what it is wearing and more about what it can do. A 2017 Ram 1500 buyer is looking for a hard-worker. They want capability.
The 2016 Ram 1500 offers high performance in all of its engines. The 3.6L Pentastar V6 has been named to Ward's 10 Best Engines three years in a row. It has 305 horsepower, can tow up to 7,600 pounds, and carry a payload of 1,900 pounds.
The 5.7 HEMI V8 has 395 horsepower and can tow up to 10,650 pounds. The payload weight is 1,820 pounds. It also comes with fuel saver technology to give drivers all that power while still having excellent fuel economy.
The most notable of the engines is the one that Ram provided due to popular demand. The 3.0L EcoDiesel V6 finally gives Ram drivers access to a diesel engine. It is capable of 240 horsepower, towing of up to 9,200 pounds, and a payload amount of 1,610 pounds. This engine is a trend-setter for not just Ram trucks, but the market as a whole.
